Your data and privacy
Your personal calendar starts private. You decide what to save and what to share.
A guest plan on your device
Without an account, your plan stays in this browser using IndexedDB, with localStorage as a fallback. It does not sync between devices. Clearing browser data may remove the plan. Export a backup if you want a separate copy.
Accounts and sync
An account stores your email address, public display name, a protected password hash and your calendar data on the Atlasum server. Access to private calendars is checked against your account. Your display name may appear beside published contributions and through sharing settings you choose.
Email password recovery is not configured yet. Email ownership is not currently verified; invitations are tied to an account identifier, not a verified email address.
Calendar sharing
Your calendar is private by default. You choose the sections to publish, share through a secret link or show to an invited account. Review the shared information before granting access. Viewing does not grant permission to edit your original plan.
The holder of a secret link and an external calendar service can read the selected layer. Revoking access stops future requests to Atlasum; it cannot erase files, snapshots or copies already held by a recipient. An ICS import is a snapshot; a subscription sends one-way updates.
Public content and participation
Proposed edits, comments and profiles are moderated. Contribution forms ask for permission to publish your name and text. Keep information you want to remain private out of submissions and discussions. You can withdraw a profile from people discovery.
Preferences and technical data
Necessary cookies support sign-in. An explicit language choice is saved in a cookie for up to one year. The site does not use advertising or analytics trackers, and its fonts are hosted on the Atlasum server.
The server processes technical request information needed to operate, rate-limit and protect the service. Server logs may contain network addresses and requested URLs. Personal text is not sent to analytics.
AI and external services
Sending personal text to an external AI provider is currently switched off. If enabled later, it will require a separate, clear consent. Source links, public contacts and external calendars open other services with their own data practices.
Export and deletion
Use calendar settings to export your plan, clear guest data, delete a saved calendar or delete your account. Save a backup you need and revoke unused links before deleting. Earlier records may remain in server backups until their scheduled rotation.
