An ICS download is a snapshot. A subscription link sends one-way updates to Apple Calendar or Google Calendar; their refresh schedule is controlled by the external service. Anyone holding a secret subscription link can read the layer you shared until you revoke it.

Browser reminders are available while the app is open. Use your external calendar’s notification settings for reminders outside Atlasum.
